LCTech GmbH was founded in 1998. The production facilities and office of the company are located in the city of Obertaufkirchen in Upper Bavaria (Germany).
LCTech specializes in the development and manufacture of automatic sample preparation systems for chromatographic analyzes, used:
for the detection of harmful substances in food and animal feed
for carrying out chemical and toxicological examinations
in doping control
in environmental monitoring.
LCTech equipment allows the separation of analytes such as dioxins and persistent organic pollutants (POPs), mycotoxins, pesticides from the matrix. Sample preparation systems from LCTech are designed to work with such matrices as water, environmental objects, biological substances of plant and animal origin. LCTech automatic sample preparation systems are widely used in clinical laboratories, food safety and environmental inspection centers, and for research and development.
Since 1993, the founders of the company have been selling laboratory equipment, exclusively representing PICKERING laboratories in Europe. They opened their own business in 1998, and two years later brought to the market the first fully automated sample preparation system TACS.
The LCTech product line has been constantly evolving and expanding. The sample preparation system was followed by the GPC Ultra and GPC Vario gel permeation chromatography columns.
In 2003, the company established its own biotechnology department, which began the development and production of products for sample preparation and analysis of mycotoxins. Two years later, in 2005, systems for sample preparation before analysis for mycotoxins appeared on the market - AflaCLEAN and OtaCLEAN immunoaffinity columns.
In 2010 at Analytica in Munich, LCTech is presenting a new generation of GPC speakers.
Next year, the FREESTYLE robotic system for automatic sample preparation is launched on the market with combinable and flexible modules: SPE (Solid Phase Extraction), GPC (Gel Permeation Chromatography) and EVAporation (Sample Concentration Module).
In 2013, the company announces the creation of a new automated sample preparation system DEXTech, which is designed for the analysis of dioxins and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
In 2014, LCTech specialists presented the new ThermELUTE module for the FREESTYLE robotic mycotoxin analysis system. This development made it possible to fully automate sample preparation and analysis of aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, G2 and M1, as well as ochratoxin A and zearalenone in various samples.
2015 - the company has developed an automatic sample preparation system FREESTYLE XANA for water analysis.
In 2016, an automated sample preparation system for the analysis of dioxins and PCBs, DEXTech, appeared. This system has set new standards in terms of flexibility, low sample cost and ease of handling.
In February 2017, LCTech relocated and moved to a new company building in Obertaufkirchen. In the same year, the company introduced to the market a modified model of the DEXTech Pure sample preparation system, designed for the separate determination of PCBs and dioxins.
The company continues to work on improving the DEXTech system. During 2018, a fully automatic DEXTech 16 system appears for the preparation of samples for the analysis of PCBs and dioxins. The system processes 16 samples in a given sequence around the clock, without the participation of an operator. Samples are automatically loaded one by one through the autosampler, then transferred to the 3-column unit of the system, where the samples are purified.
In the same year, DEXTech Heat appears - an automated sample preparation system with a heating function for solid samples. Plus the D-EVA vacuum concentrator for fast, parallel and reproducible concentration of 1 to 24 samples.
In 2019, the company prepared the release of the FREESTYLE SPE (XANA) -PFAS system. The robotic system has been almost completely free of fluorinated plastic to minimize blanks in the analysis of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS).
In 2020, a new development of the company appeared - CrossTOX columns for highly efficient sample cleaning for analysis of 16 mycotoxins simultaneously, which greatly simplify the analysis procedure.
LCTech is represented all over the world by a well-developed network of distributors. In Ukraine, the official representative of LCTech is our company SocTrade. We supply a full range of equipment for laboratories manufactured by LCTech, provide methodological and service support.
